BBC takes healthy interest in No Toxic Cruise Port

April 15, 2018

Only a week after the launch of our campaign, and we were running throughout the day on BBC London.

Coverage kicked off with a live radio interview on the early breakfast show and some tough questioning  from Petrie Hosken. Lunchtime and evening slots followed with a report from Gareth Furby on BBC London TV news.

1. Tune in to the radio interview to hear why locals are opposed to the plans, and why this isn’t “just another case of nimby-ism”.

2. Watch the BBC news to see the Thames-side location for the port and to hear our local MP, Matthew Pennycook, call for onshore power.

More and more Londoners are learning about the pollution threat from the toxic cruise port.
